We are thrilled to announce that we have been selected by Rabobank and RocketSpace for the second cohort of TERRA, the prestigious Food + Ag Tech Accelerator. TERRA is a one-of-a-kind program designed to bring together the industry’s most disruptive start-ups and partner them with progressive corporate leaders to fuel cross-industry innovation.
Corporate collaborators include industry giants Nestle, AgroFresh, BASF, Beta San Miguel, Givaudan, GrainCorp, Griffith Foods, Grupo Azucarero Mexico/CULTIBA, and OSI Group.
The Native State Foods team will work closely with the corporate collaborators to explore potential partnerships and launch a pilot project together. The program will culminate in March with a Demo Day at which the cohort companies and strategic corporate partners will co-pitch their pilot’s progress.
“Our partnership with TERRA is one way that Nestlé can play a leading role in meeting quickly-evolving consumer needs,” said Rui Barbas, Chief Strategy Officer, Nestlé USA. “When we combine the resources and expertise of Nestlé with the ingenuity and agility of startups, we can create real change in our industry and shape a healthier future.”
Manuel Gonzalez, Head of Startup Innovation at Rabobank, the world’s largest agricultural bank, adds that “TERRA is all about bringing the nimbleness and creativity of innovative startups together with the ability to scale of big corporates, and Rabobank is excited to add its global food and ag expertise and network to that mix. We can’t wait to see the collaborative, game-changing solutions that come out of Cohort II.”
Selected from hundreds of applicants, we join some of the most innovative young brands in the marketplace today including Health Warrior, ReGrained, Nom Noms World Foods and others.
